Matt started plucking his handmade banjo with CG&B when they were recording their first album, Nine Tracks. When not playing with CG&B, this busy man keeps his musical flame burning bright as a founding member of the outlaw bluegrass/country band, Power Of County. He makes his living as an upholsterer by day, and in his spare time he is an avid hunter and outdoorsman who also enjoys woodworking. Matt is blessed with two beautiful daughters, who put that sparkle in their daddy's eyes.
